Cast like a studio would
Every role gets a casting brief and auditions in three interpretations. The voice that fits best, and that you would remember, gets the part, and it must sound distinct from the rest of the cast.
Accents that belong to the story
Accents come from where the story happens and where each character is from: Marseilles sailors, Parisian magistrates, a Transylvanian count. Light and natural, never a caricature.
Characters change, so do their voices
A character the story transforms gets a voice for each stage of their life. A disguise gets a voice of its own. And the cast stays the same from the first book of a series to the last.
Sound design timed to the word
Every scene gets ambience built from its place, time of day and weather, and every door, hoof and glass lands on its word, placed in the room and at the right distance. Dialogue always sits on top.

Unabridged, with every “he said”, or a dramatized edition where the performance carries the dialogue tags. Letters, diaries, telegrams and newspaper cuttings each get their own presentation.
Proofed automatically
Each chapter is listened back and compared with the text word by word. The speaker of every line is verified, names follow a book-wide pronunciation lexicon, and any glitch is caught and retaken.
